Linestep
Draw a melodic line on a clocked pitch grid.
Draw polyphonic pitch slides as connected note gestures.
PolySlide treats pitch motion as part of each note. Voices can cross and drift independently because simultaneous notes use separate MPE member channels.
The browser, VST3, CLAP and standalone releases focus on the editor and external MIDI workflow. PolySlide contains no synthesizer or product DSP of its own; AU remains planned until its semantic MIDI egress contract is qualified.
The shared multi-voice piano roll stores stable note identities, timing, pitch and note-local curves. PolySlide turns that model into a bounded SDK MPE playback plan.
The browser host owns the selected MIDI destination. The Processor emits identified note-on/off and per-note tuning events; VST3 and CLAP adapters preserve those semantic events without reducing them to React curves or a shared pitch wheel. AU remains explicitly planned because its current v2 MIDI callback cannot carry the semantic event contract.
A rack is a fixed rig: several modules already wired together, playable as one instrument. This module is one of the pieces.
PolySlide's per-note pitch curves drive Oscillo over one rack MIDI cable.
Plays PolySlide's unison-drift preset: three voices on one pitch, sliding apart.
